Recent Updates
Progress of School Choice Bill
HB 599, the Public/Private Education Investment Tax Credit, passed House Finance on February 1 on a vote of 14-7. Before the vote, two amendments were also passed which ODACS does not support. ODACS schools often use the Stanford Achievement Test to demonstrate academic progress, and they do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national origin. The bill has been referred to a sub-committee of House Appropriations. Please contact your legislators to express support for this bill in its original, pre-amendment form! Click the links below and look for the highlighted portion of the bill.

Convention Blessings!
Almost 300 delegates, speakers, and exhibitors gathered in Charlottesville for the ODACS Educators' Convention on November 12-13. The meeting offered a great opportunity for fellowship, professional growth, and encouragement from God's Word. Dr. Jim Bennett from Northland International University was the guest speaker and challenged the ODACS delegates to avoid conformity to the world and to be transformed by living for Jesus Christ. We appreciate everybody who helped to make the 2009 convention successful!
