Leesburg entered the tournament top-seeded and favored to end the Fairfax string of ladies' soccer titles. On May 21, however, Fairfax scored an early goal to grab momentum quickly, and MVP goal keeper Kim Wise denied the many excellent attacks by the Leesburg offense.
